Why Would I Ever Go Sit in a Classroom Again?

I just love going to school, but my challenge has always been making it to class. I think both online and on ground campuses have their benefits and drawbacks but for me, online is the only way to go. I get to study on my schedule, and believe that I participate so much more online than I would in a classroom because I'm fairly shy. Online, I can pontificate as I please and state opinions that I might be hesitant to state in class.

Plus, my job requires that I travel quite a bit so online allows me to go to class even when I'm on the road. This is a huge benefit for me. So, when I decided to pursue my master's degree, online was my only choice. Now I have to decide which school to attend based on their requirements to work with a team, or be in class once or twice per class, or whatever. Some "online" classes actually require you show your face on campus a few times throughout the course and I'd prefer not to have that mandate hanging over my head.

I'm ready to go back to school but will never sit in a classroom again.
